1.9.18 Sanford Florida

What a wonder 4 days we have had with Mark and Wanda (Rods cousin and his wife). They arrived Friday afternoon around 9 pm. They came down to visit and brought our Truck to us. We have stayed busy trying to visit as many places we could. Saturday we went to Titusville and had supper at the Dixie Crossroads, one of our favorite seafood restaurants, and gave them a tour of the town. They really wanted to go to Kennedy Space center so we decided since it needed to be an all day event we would go back on Sunday. We arrived at the Space center at 10am and stayed all day!! We still did not get to see it all!!  Monday we went to the town of Mt Dora Where there is lots of shops and museums to visit. Had to return back to our marina as we booked an Airboat ride with our friend Shawn at 2pm a chilly day and our coat and a warm blanket felt good on the water in an open boat!!!  Rod decided to go with a short hair cut and Mark said i can cut it for you, so now Rod is sporting a new hair cut!!  Pic attached!!  Also the night we returned from the Space center there was a rocket launch at 8pm. a great addition to our visit there at the space center. We watched the launch from our boat. They had to be in Deland by 2pm on Tuesday to catch the Amtrak Train home. So we left early and stopped at Blue Springs State park to see the manatee. We spent 3 1/2 hours. It has been a great visit and i do hope they enjoyed the visit as much as we enjoyed having them here with us.  We are so excited to have a vehicle and wont have to depend on Paula and Jim for a ride all the time.
Much Love to all!!!   Ms Fran & Capn Rod
