We drove by the Houston space center on the way home from the restaurant and took pics of the Challenge on top of its carrier plane. We have been to Cape Canaval in Titusville Fla so many times we decided to not spend the time to see the same missiles.
We returned home and spent the next 2 days making sure all laundry was washed and met the guy to repair our slide out on the motor home. But no luck. He said we would need to take it to a service center as lift would be needed to pick up the side a little to take the pressure off the gear to get it lose and take it off. This will be done when we get to San Antonio I guess.
Today we went over to the marina where Bob and Norma have lived for 5 yrs and had a great spaghetti dinner with grilled asparagus and broccoli and a fruit salad.
They also gave us all their travel maps of which they marked all the favorite places they had traveled in the north west. Both of them grew up in Washington state and Oregon. A wonderful afternoon spent with friends!! Thanks Bob and Norma for the great times spent together while we were here!!
This evening spent on getting the motorhome prepared for travel early in the morning!!
Houston as been a great place to spend a week!! On to San Antonio we go!!!!
