June 6th & 7th Bear Lake MI

Yesterday the 6th we spent the day driving 22 miles to a Walmart to get a new set of lights for the towed vehicle. We had a set that just decided to quit working. Me I spent most of the day trying to recover from this stomach bug I have battled for the last 2 days!! Plus my allergies are killing me!!
This morning the 7th we got up and prepared the motorhome for takeoff!!!  I’m feeling almost back to normal (whatever normal is Ha). We only drove 267 miles to the northwest part of Michigan just south of Traverse City!! Everyone told us we could not leave Michigan till we went to Traverse City!! We set up at Kampville RV Park in Bear Lake MI. By far the nicest park we have stayed in yet!!! Lisa checked us in, told us a lot about the area and escorted us to our site.
We could not resist a dip in the pool this afternoon and met the sweetest young girl Gracie Rae and her mom. They come here a couple times a month all summer. She gave us some great tips on places to see and go and of course good places to eat. They come here so much the park named a playground after the little girl Gracie Rae !!!
Lexie enjoyed all the huge area to walk run and play!!! She’s a happy camper. Tonight is Nascar as we have great DirecTV reception here!!!
We will be touring the area tomorrow and Sunday and moving on Monday morning!!
We are blessed with perfect weather!!
