2/11/15 Wednesday St. John's River Fla

Untied the boat and took off this morning at 7:15 am!!! So hard to say goodbye to our friends Paula and Jim. We had a wonderful, and beautiful day of travel. This evening at 4:45pm we anchored at Edgewater Pt. on the St John's River. We Traveled 89  Miles today, and wanted to get anchored in time to possibly see the missile launch from here. AND WE DID!!! At 6:03 pm it came across the sky.
We had some fun time after we anchored as Rod tied a 50 ft string to an old grapefruit, threw it out in the water behind the boat and we had target practice with my BB gun!!  A great way to unwind!! Ha
Pizza for dinner. Relaxed and planned our voyage for tomorrow looking at some possible places to anchor tomorrow night just before Jacksonville.
Got some good pics of things we saw today!!!
We love you all, Fran and Capn Rod

Saw this beautiful Eagle sitting on the power lines!! I also took 5 other pics of Eagles sitting on channel markers!!  They were plentiful today!!!

Came by this small marina today!!!   Georgetown Fla?????

Bad fire on the waterway !!! Several miles!!!

Acting like kids !!! Ha

Was not as good as if we had been at Cape Canveral, but at least we did see it!! Ha

Sunning herself!!Ha. Such a great traveling dog!!
