12/15/15 Tuesday Travel Day 5 Headed South

10 days to Christmas!!!! I do hope all is about ready to celebrate the birthday of our Savior!!! And of course the visit from Old St. Nick himself!!
We started and ended the day gray and cloudy!! 80 degrees all day Light sprinkle of rain a couple of times, but it did not slow us down as we traveled 104 miles!!! That is an all time record for us in one day!!! We did not even have a breeze of wind today and the water was slick all the way down the St. John's River. We anchored at Turkey Island for the night in a quiet cove, have had dinner and now resting up before going to bed about 9pm as that is "boaters midnight"!!  Ha  I have a few good pics to share coming through Jacksonville Fla. otherwise it was a uneventful day! Next stop Sanford, Fla docking at Monroe Harbor Marine spending time with Jim and Paula!!
We covet your prayers daily for safe travels!! Love to all, Fran and Capn Rod

This was my view from my Admirels chair most of the day!!! Lol  a good day for reading!!

Interstate 95 crossing the river!! A whole different view from down here!

This ship was unloading cars and trucks from over seas!!! Man they were driving them off in droves!! Difinitely not American made!!!

Ships name! appropreate name huh!!

Fed my Capt a great sausage and french toast breakfast!! I love to cook and he loves to eat!!
