2/26/16 Friday South Edisto River, SC

We Left Isle of Hope this morning right at 7:15am,a very hard place to leave!! We love this place so much. It is such a quaint area, just a few miles from downtown Savannah. The guys and girl (Kimberly) are such great people. Very enjoyable place to stay.
Traveled 82miles today and anchored this evening just about 30 miles south of Charleston, SC. We are on the South Edisto River in a secluded area that is beautiful. We enjoyed leftover Chinese for supper, and tried to watch some TV but not very good reception in the area.
Now I'm just trying to keep warm!! Sun gone down and it's about 45 degrees. We can't hardly stand to run the generator at night, it is very loud, scares Lexie, and to loud for us to sleep. Soooo we just get in bed huddle up together and stay warm!! Lol  Rod will get up early and start the generator and get the house warm before we get up!!!  It's like camping, ha only we don't have to build a fire to get warm in the mornings!! Hehe
We should arrive home as scheduled Sunday afternoon. I'm ready to get home!!
I'll let you know where our anchorage is tomorrow night, should be just North of Charleston, which could make for a shorter day home on Sunday.
Please keep us in your prayers!!! Love and Blessing to all,  Fran & Capn Rod

Pulling away from Isle of Hope Marina!! We sure have enjoyed spending a few days here.

Started our morning with this beautiful sunrise!!

We went by Parris Island, the Marine training base!! Our grandson Triston will be here next year!!

What a way to end the day!!! Gorgeous!!!
