Very uneventful day but warmer, no wind or rain, we did see the sun a little from time to time. Temperature was 70 degrees most of the day!! It's Florida and suppose to be warm right? I'm actually wishing and hoping for some warmer weather soon!!!
Rod spent a few hours working on the anchor motor today, but no luck, so that will need to be repaired when we arrive in Sanford before we head back home. he says be can just replace the shaft that is worn, no big deal!! Yeah! He's a boat captain and a repair man!!! What more could I ask for????
Our friends in Sanford are excited for us to arrive tomorrow as it is Paula's birthday!!! So I will get to go out for dinner!! WooWhoo!!!
We anchored this evening after traveling 76 miles today. A place almost right in the center of Lake George the second largest lake in Florida, 11 miles long and 6 miles wide !! Lake Okeechobee is the largest according to Google!! Ha What use is there to do riding through a lake this large? Might as well do some research, huh?
Ok, back to where we anchored! A cove called Silver Glen Springs!! We got the dinghy down and went for a ride up the cove to see if we could see any manatee? No luck, but the water was so warm and clear you could see the fish swimming by the boat. Lots of wildlife saw an eagle and Great Heron.
Could not get Dominos to deliver or Papa John's, so we settled for DiGiorno's right from the freezer!! 25 minutes and I had fresh made pizza!! Makes for easy clean up also!! I like that part!!
It's about 8pm so probably will get ready for bed soon!! We will be up early tomorrow, as we do hope to be docked in Sanford around noon!!
A few pictures attached!,
Love to all, Thanks for your prayers We know God has traveled with us each day!!
