Got up early and dropped off Lexie at the groomer by 9am, then on to the nail salon just down the street here at the Marina for my nails and pedicure!!! Both of us had a salon day!! WooWho!!!
When I got home Rod had completed the finishing touches on the water pump and changed the hoses. It is working great and looks just as good!! Pics to share!!
Rod and I worked on the walkway on the boat laying the new rubberized mat around the outside. We completed the walkway and just have the bow of the boat yet to do!!! We both were surprised how great it looks and much more functional!!
We punched out around 4pm, showered and left with Paula and Jim to go to a local steak house here in Sanford called the Cattle Ranch. It's been a long time since we have had a steak but we all agreed it was the best steak possible!!! Salad and baked potato included!!!
I gave Rod a pedicure this evening, that's a chore in itself!! Ha Some playtime with Lexie, and Rods coloring in his adult coloring book, and me, I'm on the Internet checking emails, and writing the blog!!
We are trying to complete as many tasks as possible and spend as much time with our friends here as we will be taking off for the Keys on Monday the 18th. It may be our vacation but chores and repairs have to be done while we are on vacation as there is no spare time to do them in the summer when we work 60-70 hours a week. Ha
