1/16/16 Saturday Sanford Fla.

Some how I have messed up on my dates, so I'm setting it right tonight! Ha Today is Saturday the 16th!
What a beautiful sunny, 80 degree day here in Sanford!!!  Although tonight and tomorrow morning is suppose to be stormy and and a bit cooler.
We left this morning with Paula and Jim for Maitland, Fla. about a 30 min drive or so to tour the Florida Audubon Birds of Prey!!! Wow what a wonderful 2 hours we spent there!!! This place rescues injured birds of prey (large birds) that are treated and returned to the wild if possible, but if not they keep them there for life!!! The ones that stay are called Ambassadors! I have 56 pics I took there today so I will share a few that I think was the best.
When we returned home, after a nice lunch at Steak and Shake, we discovered our refrigerator had quit and the freezer food was beginning to thaw!!!! OMG!!! Thank goodness for a second refrigerator and freezer!!! I moved all I could to the other fridge and we began pulling out the the fridge from its built in compartment. No easy task!!!!  Jim came over and began accessing the darn thing and felt it just had dirty coils and hoped that was the problem. After a good cleaning and letting the compressor cool down from trying to run, It seems now to be working without any problems!!! Tomorrow will tell or there will have to be a replacement or possibility replace the compressor when we get back home to Georgetown!!! Thank you Jim for again coming to our rescue!!! We could never repay all you have done for us!! Ain't enough fruit cobblers I can make to pay that debt!! Ha Love you bunches!! We are blessed with great friends!!
Now food is cooked that melted, fridge back in its case, what was still frozen is in the uostairs fridge and kitchen cleaned!! All is good!!!
Resting up to get ready to complete the finishing chores to leave here Monday morning for the Keys. It's a good and bad thing, we soooo hate to leave our friends here but ready to hit the water again and travel!! A definite double edge sword!! Ha
So wish I could share all the pics I took today, just too many to post!! Hope you enjoy!!
Love and Blessings to all, Fran & Capn Rod

This adult screech Owl was about 4 inches tall. He looked like a baby although he was full grown.
His name was Sanford!

He did not seem to mind sitting there and letting everyone admire him!!
