Rod he fished all morning and total now is 17 fish in 2 days!! Good catch!! Jim plans to take these tomorrow to his sons family for a big fish fry!!
We all left this afternoon and drove down to Titusville to the Merritt Island wildlife refuge and drove the 11 mile dirt road through the park. What beautiful wildlife we did see!! We also made the trip to also go to a local restaurant called "New York New York" there in town. We knew they had THE BEST chicken gizzards we have ever eaten. When you can get a true New York girl (aka Paula) to eat gizzards, you know they are good!!! So the appetizer, a large basket of gizzards to share. Then the best burgers around and homemade potatoe chips!! Yummy!!!! Back to the boat by 7pm. Great full day of excitement and fun!!
I have some pics to share, sure wish I could post all the bird pics I took today!! Way too many!! Ha
Love and Blessings to all!! Fran & Capn Rod
Just had to stop for this shot!!! Here on the river walk and a group of Ibis was up in this bed having a feast on worms and bugs I guess.
A shot of some of the wildlife seen today!! The pink ones are called Roseate spoonbills. Amazingly beautiful.
