1/3/15 Saturday Ft. Pierce, Fla

Well today is Saturday, when everyday is the same it gets harder to separate them!! ha   I hear retired people say the same thing!! We got up early and was at the farmers market and craft fair by 9:30am. OMG !! I found our why there are no other stores open this holiday weekend. They were all waiting to attend this gathering!!! You could not stir this football size field area with a stick!!! There was a Jass band, and tents set up in this area with everything from food venders, produce, paintings, jewelry, clothes, and multiple kinds of craft things!! Had a grand time just walking and enjoying all of this activity. Rod had decided yesterday to go back to the navy seals museum today and exchange 2 tshirts he purchased yesterday that was to small. Paula called this morning and said Jim woke up with  a bad cold and they felt they had better not make the trip here for the day. So it was just Rod and I for a while at the market, then Rod decided to ride the bike and go exchange his shirts. 10 mile round trip on a bike by himself. He's was back in 2 hours!! Again he said he got rained on a little on the ride there!!! It just can't seem to quit raining!!!!
I picked up a few fresh veggies, treated myself to an orange smoothie, enjoyed the festivities for a while and then went home and paid bills via computer!!! Work still has to be done!! Bills still have to be paid!!ha. I prepared a lunch of fresh sliced home grown tomatoes on bread for lunch !!!! What a treat to have good veggies, especially, tomatoes in the winter!!! Course it was 88 degrees here today. It we had not had a good wind blowing today it would have been 100.
Rod wanted to ride more, believe it or not, so we took off on the bicycle again and just rode. Found a redbox and rented Jersey Boys and found a historic blgd called the Arcade and walk around it for a while. Took a few pics to show our outing today, and back to the boat we went!! We did stop and pick up some Popeyes chicken to take home with us.
Thats about it for today!!! Stayed in the rest of the evening other than a few short walks with Lexie for her some exercise!!! We are a bit bored now and ready to move on. Anxious to get to Sanford for some fun with Paula and Jim!!! I really don't know what else we will do for 2 more days here. We will go to get groceries on Monday as we will not dock again till we get to Sanford next Monday or maybe Sunday afternoon if all goes well. Our water tanks need to be filled to the brim and prepare the boat for a 7 day journey!!!
Much love to all, and please continue to pray for our journey!!! Fran and Capn Rod

I was wanting a pedicure!! Rod said no just a shoe shine stand used in the 60's and 70's.  A stand like this was a big business for a friend of his at the courthouse in Myrtle Beach

I-Phones are not Rods thing!! He would still love to have one of these. Tech savvy he is not! ha
But he is improving !! How many of you are old enough to remember using one of theses? Here's a quarter call some one who cares!!! Ha
