1/4/15 Sunday Ft Pierce, Fla

What a blessed Sunday and last day here at Fort Pierce, Fla.!!!!! We decided this morning we really was ready to move on, so we went grocery shopping, returned our movie to redbox, and rode through the town one last time!!! We have really enjoyed our time here. I cleaned house, Rod did the engine check, we relaxed a little on the back deck, washed clothes, loaded our bicycle on board and prepared everything for take off early in the morning. We walked down to the marina office and turned in our keys and ate one last time at the Tiki Bar and restaurant. Had a great burger and fries, appetizer of a cup of that great conch chowder!!  Yummy!!! We walked off a few calories around the boardwalk and headed back to the boat!! Showered and in my Jammie's, I'll soon be ready to set the alarm for 6am!!!!
We will anchor out for the next few nights so Lexie got some good grass time this evening ran and chased the seagulls a little. She met a new friend today a kitty on the boat beside of us, her name was Cocoa!! She had little to do with Lexie but was in no way afraid of a dog!!! Pic below!
Have no idea where we will be tomorrow night, but I will be sure and let you know!!
Please pray for our journey tomorrow and the health of our boat!!! She has served us well this trip!!
Love to all, Fran and Capn Rod

Rod wanted to check out a water leak on the back side of one of the motors before we left (all, was ok), but I just had to share this pic of him climbing into the motor room via our living room floor!!! We rolled up the rug, opened the door and in he went!! He amazes me how he can get into the smallest of places!!!

A well deserved rest with a good book on the back deck after his work was done!!

Lexie's new friend Cocoa!!

A great burger and fries at the Tiki bar!! Look in the background, a GREAT jimmy buffet band!! these guys were great!

On the boardwalk, the moon was georgeous!!!

Walking to our dock entrance, again a beautiful shot of the moon!!
I can't resist a pic of a board of directors meeting of the seagulls!! Hehe. This is part of the new docks being installed and already the seagulls have set up residence!!
